In the early 1980’s, Peter Anastos and Marcel Nadeau, both of the Greater-Boston area, began a business relationship by remodeling and restoring homes in the affluent Boston suburbs of Weston, Newton, and Wellesley.

In 1986, Peter relocated to Yarmouth, Maine and entered the development field, building residential neighborhoods in southern Maine. In 1987, Marcel joined Peter in Maine and together they have developed several very successful neighborhoods, and built hundreds of homes in the greater Portland area. Included in these works are the developments of the Royall Point and Royall Meadows neighborhoods of Yarmouth, and two Portland Symphony Orchestra Designer Showhouses and many prominent residences scattered along the coast of Maine.

Anastos & Nadeau’s continued success stems from the team that they have assembled, and the superior product that this team is able to produce. Peter and Marcel pride themselves on choosing quality people to work alongside them in their endeavors. In January of 2001, Anastos & Nadeau asked Designer Joseph Waltman to join their team and develop an in-house design team. By adding one of the best-known home-design talents of southern Maine, the company is able to offer full in-house design/build services.
