At Anastos & Nadeau, Inc. we pride ourselves on our team
efforts. We are a small company and we feel this helps us
give personal attention to our customers. Due to our size,
we also limit the number of custom home building and renovation
projects we undertake at one time. This enables us to run
our projects more efficiently and maintain better quality
control.
Once building plans are complete, the home construction process
begins. Each job is overseen by the President & Owner,
Marcel C. Nadeau, and also assigned to one of our Project
Superintendents. The Project Superintendent is responsible
for the day to day activity and progress on the job. They
also make certain that the work being performed is in accordance
with our standards and they are available to address any concerns
or questions the trade contractors and/or Owners may have
pertaining to the construction.
Prior to the start of any building project, a schedule is
developed to guide the progress of each phase of construction.
This schedule is maintained in-house and all of the major
suppliers and trade contractors are notified of the time they
are expected to start and complete their part of the project.
This enables us to deliver our custom-built homes and renovation
projects within the allotted time of completion stated in
the Contract.
A Selections Sheet is created and given to our customers
prior to start of construction. The Selection Sheet guides
the customer through the process of selecting items to be
built into their home such as types of kitchen cabinetry,
counter tops, flooring, lights, etc. The Selection Sheet also
includes a list of suppliers we recommend to work with, based
upon past experiences. This Selection Sheet will also let
the customer know when the items need to be available on site
in order to maintain the construction schedule. This helps
the customer and the suppliers they choose arrange for delivery
of the products on time.
At the start of the building project we also provide our
customers with a Project Manual. This enables the customers
to maintain any documents /correspondence relating to their
home in an organized manner. We provide them with a copy of
their Contract, a set of plans, Change Orders, Selection Sheets,
Appliance Specifications, etc. We also maintain the same book
in-house so that all correspondence between the customer,
our office and any trade contractor is easily accessible.
We utilize these and other methods to make the process of
construction efficient, effective and pleasurable.
